How are those that have the Block feel about them Vs the Pad?

All my pads have a tail block, not sure why I would by just the block since sometimes I miss the block and still get really good back foot traction for my turns.

depends what board you're putting it on and how often you actually get your back foot up against the block really, you rarely see your average surfer with their feet right up against the block unless their foot slides back during a turn so i'd still go with the tail pad
