Whales.

I'm ever so excited.

I just popped to the shops, walked via the beach, and saw my first ever wild whales!

A pair of them were relaxing in Coogee bay. I dont know what kind they were other than "fecking huge"
Ive been dying to see some proper big sea life ever since I got to Oz and now I have

And to think, less than a year ago, the most exciting thing I got to see was a west london urban fox

The closest I've had since i've been in NI on the migratory route is couple of haggard dead minkys that washed up on the strand... Stinkin!

My first wild whales were sperm whales in NZ but also seen orca's in NZ and UK waters and Minkys in UK

...And then today I got to see, from my living room, people towing in to some enormous waves

Its been quite a weekend.

I saw a dead one in shoreham harbour once.

If I saw a whale in the middle of the water I would literally xxxxx my pants so fast that I would probably have so much propulsion that I'd be on the beach in a matter of seconds.
