surfing the seychelles ?

Postby tang » Wed Oct 06, 2004 10:25 am

Hi guys,

wonder whether some of you have info on surf spots in the Seychelles.
I am going to spend 10 days there on honeymoon.

I tried to find some info on the web but I haven't found any useful / detailed info.

Thanks very much for your help.

Hi Guys,

I live there and have recently taken up surfing. There are nice waves if you know where to look. If you're staying on Mahe, then Grand Anse and B'ougainville are good places to start. It all depends on whether you catch it on a good day. Surf can vary between 2 and 4 foot and the breaks are mainly reef breaks.
