Nowadays with the internet, kids much younger than 14 probably know a lot more than shaved pussy. I don't think kids even know what 1st, 2nd, & 3rd base are these days because they go straight to homeruns.

As for the Fafanator, maybe it's a male machismo thing or maybe I'm not reading all of his posts, but he doesn't seem to bother me. I think he's got the same STOKE for surf that the rest of us have, but perhaps his way of expressing it rubs some people the wrong way. Hey, as long as he isn't the a$$hole longboarder that keeps sitting on me even when there's no one else out and other breaks to sit at, then I don't have a problem with the ol' Fafanator.

BTW, where is Innerpool? As for wave size, here in Hawaii we use different measurements for wave size which is extremely confusing. Also, to a beginner I'm sure the waves feel a lot bigger than they are and Fafanator may be judging the waves based on what the other surfers out are catching.

To his credit, there are beginners who do catch head high and overhead waves in their first few months surfing. They may not be ripping those waves, but they are charging. Also, the groms usually do learn faster than us older folks. They definitely have more energy (and probably less fear). When I first started surfing I used to charge bigger waves...and get drilled a lot more. I even got barrelled (on my belly on a longboard) on a take off once back then.

Just a thought...maybe we should have a spell check option on this site although it probably wouldn't catch "common" for "come on".

Personally, if my 'local break' that I surf 'every day' was going off like the forecasts have it down as, I wouldn't be wasting my time on here!!

Innerpool is a spot in mosselbay, here is a vid that has mostly innerpool in it (some outerpool too, outerpool is a reef right next to innerpool, a short paddle away, and you get in at the same place, it is seperated by fullstop rock.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVo_avaeFaQ

And when I say I paddle out in overhead+ I don't mean I actually catch the bigger ones, just the smaller shoulder hight sets, and sometimes a head high one. I do have alot of fear, but because of my skateboarding I know how to controll my fear and channel it into energy.

And yes I do get thrown around allot, but I am used to pain, because of skateboarding and kickboxing.

i still believe its a troll job, he has nearly 200 posts since the 24th of jan. he never surfs, hes on the net constantly so theres no way he can be making the sort of progress hes claiming.

like surfing-inovation said in a different post. one minute hes saying hes stuck in the white water the next hes saying hes getting barrelled

he says hes honoured to be friends with some kid that rips whos sponsored, then when challenged he sayd he doesnt really know him

he tells some beginner to only half put on his leash so if it gets snagged it'll slip off his foot, great way to drown some you kook

hes says people stand around and admire his waxing job and that they will pay him to do it

for ages he blew on about hawaiian scale until someone eventually told him to stfu as hes not from hawaii. on one post he said he surfed 9 foot(hawaiian) thats 18 ft on the face, thats nearly treble o/h. "Unless your talking in hawaiian sizes, 16ft isn't that bad, I'll surf it anytime" =his words

the guys a kook and a troll

not much bugs me in life but this goon does

Im not taking any sides, just saying that maybe the kid is stuck around computers more than he has free time to surf. This is post 75 of mine.. and I've only been signed in here for like two weeks now. :? Im stuck in a cubicle all day long..

Im just saying, post count shouldn't have much to do with it.. some of us cant surf as much as we are staring at a computer screen. :(

The rest, I kind of agree with. But I think he may just be real psyched up about the surfing. If I would've started surfing back when I was 14.. I probably would've been trying to talk to whoever I could about everything too.

He maybe should calm down a little bit. I prefer the method of not saying anything specific unless Im pretty positive about it. I have trouble with the whole foot in the mouth thing. :x

On some forums I see people with 1000 posts in 2 months, and I know they can't be on the net all the time, because it takes like 1 minute to post something, and on a fast forum it is easy to make 10 posts in 20 minutes.
