Ive just been on the phone to a Sky Digital techie about my sky boxes - neither of them are receiving channels, therefore missed out on not only last weeks episode of Lost which I fell asleep through, but also this weeks new episode.
So... on the phone to they guy, going through everything. He then decides that theres nothing more can be done over the phone and logs the call for a warranty call out (got my new Sky Plus box and dish receiver thingy in November so its still got guarantee on it).
The soonest appointment they have for an engineer to come is June 23rd. Ten days away. Ten days with NO telly at all.
The local Sky engineer lives not even 5 minutes away from me, and judging by the amount of time his van is outside his house for, he doesnt do alot of work.
Why the fleshin' does it take 10 days for someone to come and fit a new bit to my sky dish? My fleshin' dog could do it in half the time (although she cant be trusted with electronics, so im not asking her).
fleshin' well narked off. Unless you have Sky or Cable over here, you dont get ANY terrestrial channels, so I've now got absolutely no television for 10 days, and cant record anything and theres loads of stuff I was planning on watching/recording over the next couple of weeks.
Have to admit im more narked about missing Lost - get even half an hour behind and it leaves you stumped for weeks, im gonna be fleshin' missing three weeks worth!!
**edit** Oh my fleshin' god - just thought of something else!! The World Cup!! Im gonna miss the next two games, which I had to cancel two shifts at work for! Everyone I know has either no interest in it, or wont be home. fleshin'!!!!
