General Description

Mellow beach, variety of water sports (surf, body surf, kite surf). Generally not too crowded. Host of an annual rough water swim in July, usually followed by a fish fry the next weekend. Plenty of places to eat, there's a Ruby's at the end of the pier.

PCH, go down main to Ocean.

Where to Stay

Not too many places to stay within walking distance of the beach, unless you are a girl scout (there is a scout house within a short distance of the beach).

Open parking lot-- hourly and daily lots with a ticket machine. 2 hour free parking along the streets nearby.

No rentals within walking distance.
