Almost always locals during non-summer months, weekly rental tourists May-Sept. Sand bars, plenty of beach to go round. Best surf during low tide, high tide brings shore-breakers. Localism is nothing to worry about, only teenagers exhibit that type of behavior, and it's easy to just move a block away from them. Sept and Oct have best waves, 6-10 footers. Storms can bring good waves, but can ruin them and make them choppy if wind is parallel.
