Changeable spot due to shifting sand bottom.
Incoming tide break that is a go to spot when the winds are hard from the North/North East. When the east facing breaks are out of control Myrtle will be offshore. Well protected, the waves can get fun under those conditions.
On mid period swells the place can get fun also. Always worth a check, surprises happen.
The break faces the ship channel and the waves come in from deep water with the tide. Under NE conditions the current is very swift so plan to paddle a lot. When the tide peaks the current will pause before changing flow. That is the best window.
Easy break to access.
