An off and on finiky break that on occasion peels hollow lefts. West of Myrtle Street 5th street can provide fun lefts during Northeastern conditions. Easy to access with a short paddle out. The waves break pretty shallow and with some punch. Late takeoffs are the norm. Thruster or a Fish work best here. Plan to drive fast down the line.
A deep ship channel creates popup waves that jump up fast on the steep beach.
Staying in the line up just west of the rock point can be a challenge as the current runs swift during the flood. Pay attention to the lineup and watch the current as it is wicked.
Lil Pipeline is always worth a check.
Limited parking on site. Park at elementary school if lot full.
