How to get there

Drive north from Hilo toward Hamakua and Waimea. The beach is on the right less than five miles out of town. This is a state park area and suburb of larger and wealthier homes. The area "Honoli'i" is marked with a large sign on the main Highway (19).

Orchid Manor.

Access & Parking Info / Cost

Parking is tough on the narrow beach road. Grand theft auto and break-ins have happened many times here. Drive slowly on the single lane road that handles two way traffic.
