General Description

Just along from the classic break at Playa Colorado is the equally classic wave Ponga Drops. The wave breaks over the rocks and on the beach, and will hold bigger waves than Playa Colorado - even as big a triple overhead can be surfable.

The wave is powerful and provides A-frame waves over the rock. It's also pretty empty - a real classic wave.
