Boca Barranca is a left point break, breaking over a sand and rock sea bed. It is a fast breaking , long wave, and can hold over 2.5 meters.
Due to its position in the Gulf of Nicoya, it needs a big southerly sell to get good. With the right swell the place can be epic. With a bit of luck, yYou'll see it going off when your plane lands at Chacarita Airport.
