General Info

How to get there

Drive toward ‘Doncella Beach’ park outside. Usually there is large parking availability in the winter months, if not cross the road to where the local police station is and park either in front, or on the hill.

Where to Stay

Most popular stays are Airbnb/Booking.Com (best to book with friends to split costs). You can also bring a tent and Camp on the beaches in the winter, autumn and spring months. If you’re travelling in your van, Playa del Seghers has a small parking at the bottom that overlooks the beach. You can also go up the road a small bit and park on the other side of the beach called Playa del Cristo.

Access & Parking Info / Cost

Free Parking all around, no towing has ever been seen (you can park anywhere) - as long as you’re not breaking laws like parking in the middle of the street!

Equipment Hire

Not a lot of Surf Shops. Perhaps check out Caledonia Surf Shop. If you need other equipment that’s not prevalent, go to Oliveri Cafe in the centre and ask for Isra and Ayman. They’ll sort you out with everything.

Surf Schools

A small number of Surf Schools and no known established camps. This area is mostly frequented by intermediated and advanced.

When its Flat?

Perhaps check out Playa del Angel, further up past the town centre. On some days with SE, E winds Seghers may not work and Playa del Angel will.

If it’s FLAT: There’s a number of things to do in Estepona. You can grab breakfast at the famous Oliveri on the paseo, fresh sea food at the restaurants on the paseo, Calle Real or Calle Caridad. Visit the parks: (Parque del Calvario), (Parque de las Mesas). Perhaps go to Laguna Village and explore. You can rent buggy’s and do a trip up in the hills with Estepona Buggy’s. (€99 for 2hr Tour). Paint balling at the local paintball centre. If you wanna go out and get lit, Puerto Banus and Marbella are a 20 min drive down the road. Clubs like Seven, Funky Buddha, Momento, La Suite and Puente Romano are perhaps the most popular. You can also explore the nature, go on a hike to “Los Pedregales” or even climb the infamous Estepona Mountain, where once you reach the top there is a bar and utilities for people to make their own barbecues.

WE HOPE YOU ENJOY ESTEPONA!
