Castelejo Beach is a beach break in the south west region of Portugal. This spot can get very crowded in the summer especially with the vast amount of body boarders.
Being on the Atlantic coast, water temperature will get freezing in the winter months requiring a decent wetsuit.
The best swell direction comes from the north west and west and the best wind directions are from the south east and east.
Head for Vila do Bispo and follow the sign to the beaches.
There is a main car park for the beach.
Freeride Surf School is the most local surf school in the area.
Its a popular fishing location so bring a rod.
