There is a rivermouth wave and a beachbreak at Crantock. The rivermouth is a right sandbank that is best at low tide. The north west facing beach is a little sheltered from swell so check out when a decent swell is on.
The break is the next one south of Pentire. You can check out what is happening by driving out to Pentire headland for a sneaky peek.
