Once of Perths busiest breaks. Left and rights can be surfed here out infront of the Indiana Teahouse. Does not get that good that often and can become a bit of a struggle to get waves with so many surfers and spongers out there. It's a nice spot with plenty going on around to keep you occupied.
This is the beach where Perths fatal shark attack happened back in 2000.
The wave breaks off Cottesloe main beach. You can either drive or get the train to Cottesloe station. It is a shortish walk from there.
Cottesloe has a backpackers.
Parking can be a 'mare in summer with every spot being taken. There are car parks in Cott and bays all the way up Marine Parade. Break is a short walk from the road.
Take a trip to Rotto as it is far more likely to have a wave. Check out the OBH or Cottesloe Hotel for a Sunday session. Both great places for a beer and to watch the sunset.
