Nice RH reef(boulders). Picks up with a peak and down the line, forms a good wall section that can barrel on the right tide and swell. Good short wave for all skills. Rock hop in and out of the water. Can get urchins on the inside and popular area for fishing. Occasional shark and dolphins. 8 out of 10 when its good.
South of Sydney. Nth of Wollongong. Head to Nth Kiama Beach and look to the Southern headland. Its off the track and you have to treck thru some bush to get to the area.
If you have a hire car, stay in Wollongong and base yourself there. There are waves everywhere on the Sth Coast. If you don't have a hire car, get the train from sydney to Bombo Beach. Bombo Beach is just around the corner and about 1km Sth of Boneyards.
No cost. Good parking. Doesn't get to crowded.
Plenty of Surf shops in Wollongong and the Sth Coast.
Head to Bombo Beach. Always a wave there.... Otherwise take you snorkel and lippers. Awsome spearfishing.
