Panorama is a point break that stats right by the south end of the village of taghazout and breaks for over 500m on the good days. It's a evry fast wave that can hardly be surfed all way threw. It's still a fun wave and you can always surf it's easiest sections if you are a gentle wave seeker. You can watch the surf in this surf spot having a lunch at Panorama surf cafe. It's right in front of the spot.
it's not as frightening as anchor point but the current can be tricky sometimes. perfect spot at low tide for intermediates who wanna try a point break, but only if it's not too high - panorama point can also barrel!!! if you're a beginner, panorama beach next to panorama point is your place to be in taghazout - perfect whitewash!
if you're coming from agadir, you take the first "road" on the left, before you come to the mosque and the place where all the taxis are. you will see panorama restaurant and it's just there - you can take awesome pictures of your friends surfing from the terrace of panorama resto.
Africa Extrem Surf Camps in Taghazout, great location and friendly crew. if you are looking for self catering apartments, check for that on there website as well. We think it's the most established company down there.
ask for salah at panorama restaurant - he's got a surfshop and a surfschool just next to the restaurant and can help you with everything you need. he can get you local prices at apartments :)
Park near panorama surf cafe.
Yeah, there is space for cars - you don't have to pay there as far as I know.
Surf equipment can be booked online with Africa Extrem Surf Camps in case you are looking for a specific board to surf. If you need just an NSP or a bic mal, you can always head to there camp and can be easily organized.
as mentioned before, salahs surf shop next to panorama restaurant - for more info it's best if you check out his page, I guess: http://panorama-surfguiding.com/
Africa Extrem Surf Camps runs a nomadic surf school in the Taghazout area. It's the best option we've seen as it's best way to do it. They always take you to the best surf for you of the day. A professional and experienced team of coaches. Safari surfing does a god job as well.
Hit the party in Agadir and sleep in the next day. Souk trips, Massages and hammam are a must if you go down to Morocco.
You can chill with the guys at the restaurant, they can also take you on boat trips with local fishermen or to paradise valley of course. there are also jam sessions every now and then at panorama restaurant in the evenings :)
