  Nahoon consists of 3 breaks, beach, corner and then reef.
  Corner and reef are accessed on a different road, while beach break is accessed via Beach Road.(Ask Locals how to get to footprints restaurant or the shark attack museum for directions or use google maps.)
  Nahoon reef is a consistent right hand reef break with a fairly longish ride, 50-100m.
  Waves can get huge here, but ask locals to find out closer to the time as to how it is breaking.
  Nahoon beach has a live webcam, you can see the beach with Nahoon Reef in the distant background.
  The waves are solid and powerful and fire best with west wind.
  It can get crowded at times but localisism is almost non existent, but be respectful when surfing there, manners are still valued.
  Nahoon Reef has in the past held surfing events incl. Gunston 500 in the olden days.
  
  Just do your research the Reef has seen several Great White attacks incl fatal ones and dual Great Whites attacking. Some people get an edgy feeling surfing there.
  
  I grew up at Nahoon and have been surfing there for over 30 years without any issues so it is up to you.
  if you are a foreigner, ensure you have full private medical aide just in case.
  
  Never the less, Nahoon is a truly magical place and an epic beach with stunning surroundings and world class breaks.
