Divers is competing in the under 18 boys division of the 2008 Smokefree National Scholastic Surfing Championships being held at Opunake, Taranaki.
Divers is the defending champion at the event and will want to retain his title in the lead up to his World Junior Champs campaign in France in less than a month.
