Description
During 10 days, Hanalei Reponty Rip Curl's team surfer girl, presents her archipelago of Tahiti, through some actions made in the research and fight for the coral reef preservation, and through the actions financed by the Rip Curl Planet Foundation.
Coral reefs represent only 0,2% of the surface of the ocean but host more than 25% of marine species. For instance, 80% out of the 13200 fish species registered come from reefs.
With a 14 280 km² area of coral reefs, (4th world ranking), France has an huge responsibility in the protection of reefs.
