Exclusive: Rarely Seen Angles Of Desert Point Perfection

“Last week, May 9th-11th, the first swell of the season arrived in Indonesia, and it was the perfect swell for Desert Point,” Bordallo reports. “However, the Indonesian government decided to close all airports and ferries from May 6th-17th so people wouldn’t travel during Ramadan, preventing large gatherings from happening. The only way to get to Desert Point was by private boat, or traveling before the restrictions on May 6th and staying at Lombok until the reopening of airports and ferries. I decided to go by sailboat with Bruno Santos and some friends, so we could surf the first good swell of the season.”
