At one stage in history everyone who attended Woodstock, who charbroiled their brains in front of the Grateful Dead and on the doorstep of Ken Kesey’s house in San Francisco’s Bay Area… at one stage, that group of humans had to re-establish themselves in the post-Vietnam war world.
The lucky ones? Well, they headed south and found themselves integrated into a new culture of surf and sun. Newport Beach, 1976. There’s no softer landing than that. The Dead Heads quickly became Surf Heads, and an entirely new counter-culture began to thrive. With spaced out tie-dyes, neon prints on acid bases and well-worn details reminiscent of a 70s surf zine, this cultural phenomenon is what Surf Heads strives to capture and cultivate.
Go on, become a part of the counter culture.
