Austin Smith-Ford shows us what surfing without surfboard fins should look like. It doesn't always have to be about goofing-off, but can also be a fun and legitimate way to surf small waves with style and flow. Those lip slides are super-cool. John Calivas ("Evil Corp") made that board and deserves credit for it. His boards, many made for cost of materials, are all over SC "loke" videos, but he's never or rarely credited. He made a lot of good boards, as so many sub-CT-level pro surfers can attest to, because some are still riding them, years later. The finless in this vid looks like not one of his best. It looks a bit slow compared to one I rode. The best examples are IMO the best finless I've seen, for the majority of above intermediate riders. They're not just good on hold but on the desired slide, and the design is simple and elegant. Credit where it is due, or the well dries up, guys.
