Opening day at the Maui Women's Pro featured a beautiful forecast and stunning surfing as the race for the 2017 World Title makes its final turn at Honolua Bay. Reigning World Champion Tyler Wright was one of the leading standouts. She advanced directly to the Quarterfinals with two important heat wins that have thrust her into pole position in the race for the crown. #WSL
