Declining NW swell continues to provide some solid surf to the North Shore this morning with light winds providing ideal conditions. Waves are topping out in the overhead to double overhead high range with some slightly larger sets at the better exposed locations. We are expecting this swell to fade throughout the day today so check back this afternoon for an update. Hazy. Mostly sunny until mid morning then becoming partly sunny. Slight chance of thunderstorms and isolated showers until mid morning, then scattered showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon. Light winds becoming southwest up to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent.
