COMP TODAY

I was in my first comp today.
This is a comback for me 2 months now, after a break for many years without surfing.
I entered the Masters and the Opens, made it thru the 1st and 2d round heats in both events, thru to the finals for a 3rd in Masters and 5th in the Opens
Very Stoked!

Got a big year planned next year....

Im impressed.
Having seen just how high the level of everyday talent is in these parts, getting those kind of results impresses the hell outta me.

If that's you in the avatar picture then no suprise that you did so well in the comp. Not only that, I'm drooling over that wave and you got someone to photograph you too! I can't get my husband to take pictures of me when the surf is good because he's to busy surfing himself.

I still have my kook days, dont you worry about that DBB!
Im working on improving Consistancy at the moment, by having short frequent (20min 2x a day more on weekends) surfs and doing my best to find the best waves every day.
Looks like ill be starting work a bit late tomorrow. We had a pulse of swell this afternoon and the late was not bad at all.
Its good to be the Boss!
