So no longboards then ( 2.5m = 8'2" ). It's also interesting that you can take a Kayak / Canoe to 4.5 meters.


Might be down to not size constraints but more the likely hood of damage to length ratio. 4.5m kayak is going to be much more hardy than a 10ft log. Only a guess though.

You can probably bet that you have to sign a damage waiver for any item they take anyway.
I just took a look at the virgin site and there seems to be no size limit specifed on boards there ( http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/pa ... ipment.jsp )
- wouldnt be the first time to claim ignorance at check in desk :wink:
