cost of travel with a board

Im going to be buying a long board in n.z and traveling to indonesia with it and maybe fiji. Does anyone have any info on how much it costs to take a board on a plane with you?

Pretty sure that Air NZ fly them free within your allowance, as do Garuda.

Just wrap it up well, Indonesian baggage handlers aren't gentle on boards.

did you say longboard? Don't think they permit you take a board that long on a plane... make sure you buy a properly cushioned boardbag for it.
