Ahh well that happens either way!

I found this little 'secret spot' a few months back, it's totally sheltered and would only work with a S/E swell, about a week after finding it I'd a dream that it was working. -Although I visited many, many times and it was as flat as a pancake.

I took a chance on it yesterday as it was way too blown out everywhere else. Lovely waves coming in  and one other lad out.

Happy Days!

When you're looking out into a forest of trees and all you can see is waves. Or you start getting so irritated that everyone is a potential punching bag!

When my car is sandfree.

When I remove the wax of my board even when is tuesday and it's predicted tottaly flat for the weekend

When I watch surf videos every night over and over

When i spent too many time during the week on my selfmade indoboard

When you think you are capable of get into the beach with your boad even if there are no waves at all, just in case... but even so you try to paddle the xtra-small wave 0.0000001 feet height.... and spent 2 hours in the water because you never know... i mean.. when i was coming to the beach i saw a 0.2 feet wave, may be another one can hit the beach today.. and it'll be for me!!

...when you end up going out to the garage to look at your board ... and spend 30mins just looking ...

...when you howl at the full moon because the swells at its highest...

...when you spend aages thinking about the swells down south, knowing theres no possible way of you getting there...

...when you start considering the possibilities of creating a wave pool in your back yard...

today I got a bunch of leaf bowers together and stuck em on one side of one of the 25 meter pools that I had got permission to use, and was trying to make waves like teh windy way. Probally the biggest ones I made were about eight inches tall... Just too short to ride... The people who worked there were looking at me really weirdly trying to catch these ripples made by leaf blowers on a longboard...
