Possibly right, but it'll last a good two years I reckon, if I'd gone for the 8600GT (And missed out on being able to run Crysis and some of the other top-end stuff) I'd have to lay out again in 12-18 months, so it's not THAT much worse.

The GFX card was cheaper than a new board, and I'm pretty damn far from learning all I can on my current board, which I feel I should before I buy another.
