360's Who does em' here...

Postby ANZAC » Mon Nov 12, 2007 10:54 am

I pulled off a few 360's this arvo... Its been years since I tried and I felt good but noticed my technique had changed. (We are talking 5 years break from surfing and prob' longer since I was last doing them.

Question: How do the other guys here (who are doing them) do your 360's?
Some guys just powerslide the tail, some guys carve a complete 360, there's the floater tail slide into the 360, and most hot groms are just getting air and flicking the tail around these days....

Serious question.

Air 360's I just pull up like a standard air but rotate my hips then my shoulders. Pretty normal way of doing them I guess.

Carving 360's (old school style) by doing a snap turn but instead of carving back into the open face you go towards the whitewash
