Second Hand Board

Postby 2scoops » Tue Nov 06, 2007 11:03 pm

Hi all,
Have been offered a Cirlce One 7' 6" - it will be my first baord, so i'm looking a cheap one!!
Thay claim its only been ridden a couple of times, although they did admit 1 fin is broken..
I haven't seen it yet hopefully very soon - anything I should be looking out for & how much for this type of board (ruffly)

if the fin has damaged the board at all, it mite not be worth buying. My sister broke her fin but it damaged the fibreglass around it. Took an age to fix.

BIC = cheap n nasty plastic popout.

NSP = less cheap and nasty plastic popout.

Got to agree with RDJ BIC are cheep and nasty but good to lern on because thay are robust and hard to damage, think there made out of that indistructable plastic parahna canose are made out of with a foam core (heavy)
you can also sell them for a good price when you out grow them,

I can recomend circle 1 good price quite light and quite tuf

seeing that I am able to purchase a package deal for around £280 - I don't think I'll bother going to see this board & just go new!

Once again the forum comes up trumps

THanks

You folks have craigslist? I'm finding all sorts of boards there for my son.. want to buy him his first board and I'm just too much of a snob to go the BIC/NSP route.
