dakar surf

i was looking at the info on the surf in dakar...it needs some updating...there are a few unlisted spots as well as some inacurate info...the currency for instance is no longer 9300 per US dollar...it is like 560 or so...one spot is Secret that is what it is called...it has some rocks but it is ok...of the point, you have to go through club med to get there is where the best waves are...then you have Yoff if you can get out...when the tide is coming in the waves never stop, it is on a sand bar so you have to swim out about 150 meters to get the good waves...it is better during low tide. there is a surf shop (Tribal) they rent boards 10,000cfa per day...one of them speaks english and has surfed here in Senegal for a number of years...he is south african...he can give some excellent info on where to surf...bring your own rash guards dont by them here...unless you can aford a $80 rashguard.
