I've got 2 cars that get used... a 4x4 nissan patrol:

and a Mazda MX5 (a'la Miata) with a roll bar, that makes transporting a long board possible in a small car :D

prius

Postby smallwavegrovellerchick » Sat Nov 03, 2007 3:29 am

The Prius is a great surfmobile since it's a hatchback and the back seat folds down. Also gets great gas mileage. Used to drive a Tercel and use my passenger seat for my surfboard. Roof racks work fine for longer boards.

What's the longest board you can actually fit inside a Prius?

Shite for anything other than easy off road use - no ground clearance, no proper locking diffs, and not enough low end grunt.

A mitsubishi delica would be much better for off road use if you want a van.
