it's probably coz i kept disturbing his grazing, by making noises to see if i could get him to look up, although after a while he did just ignore me.....

Now your asking...lol. The Husky picture was around 400 , the Moonscape was about 100 but with a HUGE shutter timer, the tree house will have been 50 , the light house was either 50/100 , but the shutter speed might have been a bit longer than normal, I should really make a note for reference.

long man, it would be cool if you had a person leaning against the light post or someting in the first one to give it some more interest.

I was bidding on a lens last night, 500 dollar lens for 127. Then I got snaked. By 5 dollars. With 3 seconds left

That's a better view than the webcam! Looks like there's a few waves.

Nice pics.

Full manual.

F8,ISO100, Bulb setting, and a home made cable release, just hold the shutter open as long as you want ! usualy from start to end of one firework.

Canon 350d here.

Any of the dSLR's are good realy, some are super, some are missing features, only one I'd realy avoid is the Nikon d40(x) because it lacks a lot I think is important.

Yeh, I'd have to say any dSLR will satisfy your photography needs. The only real consideration is if you want to use any lenses you may already own, or if you're used to the menu of, say, canon, and want to stick with what you know.

I have a canon 400d and use lenses anywhere from 18-300mm, depending on what I'm shooting, and usually take my 80-300 and my 18-55 everywhere, and sometimes my 55-100 (I think... not sure, but it overlaps the other 2) depending on whether I want to be thorough.

I must admit lately I've been loving the 300mm lens.. even for portraits etc... love the narrow field of view.

And here are a few of my photos

Oh, and the landscapes were taken using my 2mp sony-ericsson camera phone, so they're pretty average.

i am currently using a D50 with an 18-55mm and 18-200mm lense, only reason why i have still got the 18-55 is because of the filters really.....

DSLR's are pretty pricey, even the lower end models, i have to say though that the D50 is what got me started and it is a great little camera...... :!:

i'll be selling soon if anyone is interested :?:
