i'm going to try to build my own skimboard and wondering what the hell is a stringer? lol and are there any topics where someone has taken pictures of the procedure cheers

aren't skimboards just one big piece of wood/epoxy?
stringers are long pieces of wood that's usually located in the middle of a surfboard. there are also parabolic which have two.

yeah you can get some which are big bits of wood which are only good for flatland skimming but i have found out now that it is the same concept as a surfboard its like a thin piece of ply running up the middle sandwhiched betwen two pieces of EPS either side but CHEERS
