Scarborough Friday?

Postby derbyshire surfer » Wed Oct 17, 2007 6:28 am

Hi,

Got Friday off this week, may have timed it right looking good for that neck of the woods!

Anyone else heading over that way?

Got your van fixed N.S?

Was going to overnight Thurs and Fri, now can't. Van not 100% so might be in a little red 05 Clio. Not sure where yet as on these tides it will bugger a few spots up.

Its either late Thurs on the point or N bay, or early Fri Cayton for me at the mo. Don't think i will head further north to the reefs on this but i'm still pretty much playing it by ear at this stage.

Hi N.S,

Bye the way do you sell 'wetties' in your shop? Looking for another winter one...possibly the Rip Curl Ebomb 5/3mm, or Billabong Foil? Couldn't get to that section on your site?

Cheers

Being that bit inland wetsuits have not been a gamble i've tried yet. Hoods boots n gloves yes but the outlay for suits could fook me till i'm more established.

Boards sell welll though so nxt winter? Yes when more established.

Oh and yes decided not one to miss so risking van for the overnighter. Still staying round Scabs on this, late tomorow N bay point or a spot close by, see whats best, Fri am probs Bunkers as not much choice on the high.

Big tides remember so will screw a few ofthe reefs up a little.

I'm more into the 'beachies' myself! I've surfed Holbeck which was forgiving, may try the point at Cayton one day. Up til now I've had my longest rides at South Bay.

I'll be going over about 9 from my house so I'll be at Cayton around 11ish, try and stop there overnight.

May cya?
