Thats Sandon Point.
The right is fairly shallow at low tide and can get some good tube sections, theres some nice little sea urchins at this break too. We just had the Pepsi Pro-Junior held here.
The left can line up fairly good and starts with a sucky section from a large rock, it can wall up all the way to the beach if the swell is straight in from the East.
Prospective visitors please note: Hardcore localism is often experienced by visitors to this particular break.

Ill try and post some pics of a couple of other local breaks on this same tread. "Boneyards" is another reef/point break nearby... Ill try and get down there on the weekend.

Its funny DBB, Ive never experienced localism anywhere....

I think if you hussle for waves and dont have the goods when your scoring rides the locals wanted, your going to cop it. If you get up and can surf and dont just paddle straight back into the inside your right.
I surfed big cloudbreak with some guys from WA a few years ago and we just paddled on the inside of everyone, every time... We surfed for hours and no-one said a thing.
What I'm getting at, is -you can surf anywhere. Surf smart thats all.
Mind you, Iv'e never surfed Nth Shore Oahu.

You do live in a place that has pretty rubbish prospects for surf, no need to shout.

Gabe there really ought to be a forecast/report section.

I know DBB is moving to warmer climes but his SWSouth Coast knowlege might be an option. I can post NE conditions others might follow, all good for the site??

Oh and PW for N coast Ireland?

I do a daily report anyway so happy to do that if you want too.

Thanks John....
I drove down thru Gerringong yesterday and the points down there like Boneyards, were 3-4ft and glassy as. It was overcast and humid. Felt like the calm before the storm.
Had an awsome late this arvo, out at East Corrimal.. The early is going to be pumping.
Off to be now.
