dont really get 'fashion', ummm nothing too fussy but looks nice.....it's whats underneath that counts :wink:

I stop thinking about unimportant stuff


What was it that initially got you interested in surfing?
ummm I remember seeing it on TV when I was a kid and really wanting to do it, wanted to do it for ages but no-one else I knew did. then finally got some of them to go for a week in Croyde and try surfing - I was hooked.

What kind of information do you search for on the internet related to surfing? (I.e. weather reports, news, competitions etc)
weather reports, beginner information

What else do you do in your spare time, any other hobbies or interests?
watching films, bubble baths, pub, listening to music. dont really have time for any other hobbies.

Sorry matey, I sympathise for ya, I really do, but we do get this a lot and using a computer to do yer research is a little lazy.

What is a widget anyway? Isn't it one of those things you get in cans of bitter? A widget for surfers...is that so surfers don't lose their head?

Non-existent. Oh, and scruffy. I buy stuff on a whim, very rarely, and then match it depending on which of my few random pieces of clothing is clean at the time. I usually wear a cap though, at least in that I'm pretty consistent.

Erm...the unpredictability, the challenge, the stoke. Mainly I'm just addicted.

What was it that initially got you interested in surfing?
Body boarding with me bezzie mate when I was about 12.

I use this site and MSW a lot but I actually search usually for different board styles and info on how each feature affects the performance.

I may not have been able to help much but had the good grace to at least be polite about it.


hang on a sec......i've done a shed load of researching on the internet about different breaks and couldnt find anything that was really useful, so what did i do.....i asked someone who lived local to help me out :!: sorry :!:

same with the forecasting really, i did a load of research and couldnt get my head around it, so asked someone to help me........i wasnt being lazy i was dam well confused :!:

AND.....

I am pointing out that this guy is asking for help with a project, something that he is working on so that he can use the data and learn something, so calling him bone idol is (imo) uncalled for.

and im sorry alot of you seem to find it so offensive that i myself am not a surfer,maybe if i lived by the sea,or had some money to travel then i would be,lol,but i didnt see the harm in taking an interest
