Does anyone know if you can use watercolour over ink??

Just I love drawing in P&E and I thought watercolour could look great with it, just big rough blobs of bright colour "behind" it.

Hmm...I was gonna say that if I was gonna actually spend some real time on a piece it would be a waste if I did all the P&E and then the ink bled everywhere when the watercolour was put on. But then I stopped being a numpty and realised I could just try it out first.

I'm an "artist" too ;)! Actually I worked as a concept artist for a computer game company in Amsterdam last year, before deciding it wasn't for me. Worked as a freelancer for a little bit (trading cards, some private commissions) before just deciding that the art business in general wasn't for me. It's more fun as a hobby anyway. So now I'm back in the UK finishing my A-Levels before uni. Kinda cool to sometimes see a game I worked on in stores though :D

Photoshop painting (quickie, 3 or 4 hours):

Both kinda old. I keep meaning to draw more now...

P.S. Johnny B, love the colours in that watercolour orchid

Wow! You're fab! That folks, is what we call a real artist. I also can't believe that that Photoshop piece only took you 3-4hrs, it's great! I once tried to colour a comic strip I did and the first frame alone took about 4hrs!

Your work, is, or at least used to be, my dream career, I can't believe that you stopped doing it! D'you mind me asking what you're planning on doing at uni because anything non-art/design would be a waste of talent!

I'd love to see more of yer work, by the way, i'm sure everyone else would too!
