Big city, hot weather, warm water, opera house etc. Unfortunately it's full of Australians but that's still better that living with all those English people!!!

I'M ONLY KIDDING!!!!

I imagine it's full of scantily clad women in the summer! But I've never been there.

Do you never watch Discovery channel Hawaii and learn about the world?

For me, at least, being in a city is no bad thing. I'm used to London, and moving out into another country away from a city would be a culture shock to me I reckon.
The attraction of Sydney to me... right next to the ocean and world class breaks, hot and sunny, much better attitude than London in particular and the UK in general, a better job than Ive got now (although not so well paid), the chance to live in a big apartment or house right next to the beach, and then still be able to cycle to work :D

Ugh, thats another reason I was up early - getting stressed about finding the new pad! Not easy arranging somewhere to live from the other side of the world :?
But, hey, minor details - something will work out, and then a new place by the (warm, sunny, swelly) sea! 8)

I've just booked my flight

25th October - I am outta here. Im leaving it just long enough so I can leave the UK thinking 'yuck, cold, wet, dark' and arrive in Sydney thinking 'flippin' 'eck, thats hot'

Still havent got anywhere to live, but Ive hopefully worked something out for the first month to give me time to find a new pad near the beach :D 8)

If it had been me, well i think i may have started it a little while ago!

Hmmm, the lack of gloating has been noted... so...

Four weeks time, I move to Sydney!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda despise you right about now!

Good luck man.

What all did you have to do to get accepted into AU?? Is it a working visa? or what? My goal.. even though I will miss the hell out of my family. is to move to australia one day.
