cmon im serious. is it just the warmer weather? people are more relaxed? it sounds like a big city to me. props for abandoning everything though, i aready hate my line of work and i havent even graduated college yet.

Big city, hot weather, warm water, opera house etc. Unfortunately it's full of Australians but that's still better that living with all those English people!!!

For me, at least, being in a city is no bad thing. I'm used to London, and moving out into another country away from a city would be a culture shock to me I reckon.
The attraction of Sydney to me... right next to the ocean and world class breaks, hot and sunny, much better attitude than London in particular and the UK in general, a better job than Ive got now (although not so well paid), the chance to live in a big apartment or house right next to the beach, and then still be able to cycle to work

Ugh, thats another reason I was up early - getting stressed about finding the new pad! Not easy arranging somewhere to live from the other side of the world
But, hey, minor details - something will work out, and then a new place by the (warm, sunny, swelly) sea!

I've just booked my flight

25th October - I am outta here. Im leaving it just long enough so I can leave the UK thinking 'yuck, cold, wet, dark' and arrive in Sydney thinking 'flippin' 'eck, thats hot'

Still havent got anywhere to live, but Ive hopefully worked something out for the first month to give me time to find a new pad near the beach
