Passwords can't be reset due to the encryption scheme we use behind the scenes. Make a second account. Also, if you have deactivated your cookies, let me know, just in case that's the problem.

- I'm aware of the Ad campaigns being off-line. I turned those off temporarily because I want to have everyone test the other features first.
- Good call on the sponsor thing. I'll add something to the help file about that.
- The status thing is interesting. Let me think on that for a bit.
- Two passwords makes the site very hackproof. It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it.

Great feedback.

If that is the reasoning, then why can I use the same password for both?

Looks good.

Is there a reason you don't ask for an email address? Could be useful later on for sending alerts to the account holder about deadlines approaching, etc.. plus just for admin stuff like resetting passwords and the such.

Just because something is a good idea doesn't mean everyone wants to do it. Besides that, each password uses its own encryption scheme. So if someone did get their hands on them, there's no way to use one to decipher the other.

In terms of e-mail addresses, I have found the people don't like giving their e-mail addresses to strangers, especially when they are just starting out. My other Web sites - I won't post them here; they are non-surf related - collected e-mail addresses at first and we found that many more people signed up when we took them down.

Perhaps later.

My appologies. I thought I had turned off the advertising section, but rather broke it by accident. I have fixed the problem and activated it for final testing. Anyone who tried to purchase ad time and lost cash, send me your company name on the site (I'm Borgia Boards) and I'll give you back your cash.

As per popular request, Great Britain, France, and Ireland have been added to the home country categories.

That's OK. Go to the game options screen, input your passwords and change to GBR or whichever one you want and switch it up. The change will take effect the next time you log in.

You could make email addys optional, so at least you have the option built-in.

I will consider adding the e-mail option as long as it does not hurt our numbers. Well, it has been a week. I am expecting that people will begin to get their first few surfers this weekend, which will be perfect for our launch next Friday. Thanks to everyone for taking a look at the game and I hope you all like it. The more popular it becomes, the more fun it will be for sure.

FYI, the surfer scouting reports have arrived. Everyone who ordered up a scout can begin choosing their surfers.

I feel that the waiting for a surfer thing is killing us, so we've done away with that. Now, you can just go and sign any surfers who aren't taken.
