Quick question on building Skimboard.........

I really hope this is the right place to do this (even though its a surfing forum) but I would like some help building my foam skimboard. I figured that since the process is not so much different than building a surfboard then maybe I could get some help. If anyone can give me advice let me know and I will ask away.... Thanks!

Actually my question came from me reading this how to article. It says to use two 3/4" EPS sheets, one on either side of the stinger, but then it would make it 1.5" which is pretty thick. Would I then need to sand the board down to size or did I just read that wrong?

Sand it down. Once you have your blank, you can chop and shape it then glass it.

Thanks that is what I was thinking....one last question though... Does anyone know where to buy EPS foam sheets? I have been trying to contact places like crazy but the few places I found only want to sell in bulk.

When glassing do you find it better to use Epoxy Resin or Polyester Resin? And do you put on a Laminating coat?
