Import yep, like Saltrock et al. Hand shaped but by smaller hands.

Performance thrusters designed by Nigel Semmens.

If your lucky they do get some shaped in the SW.

They also do custom boards, cough, ask here.

why they say that :?: :?: :?: i guess just to keep customers happy and keep them in the "custom" category!

i narrowed my selection down to hawaiian souls, circle one and take off, all handmade over in the UK.

ended up with the soul, which incidentally is being delivered tomorrow :claps: :claps:

I CAN WAIT TO TAKE IT OUT

I'm kind of learning towards a fatboy now, i've heard some good stuff about them, and if i can get a custom made one and i can decide on all the dimensions
:P
How much does the average custom made board cost?

I'm probably going to rambl enow after no sleep last night.

I personnaly would only class a custom board as one that was made specifically for yourself.

Other companies call off the shelf boards custom boards. I stock em i got to go with what they say.

Lots of sh!te talked a lot about differnt boards on lots of forums.

If your a pro, you get boards made for nowt. If your a seriously good surfer you get them made for nowt.

If your a real good surfer who has to pay go to a shaper.

If your in my position get them cheap.

If your predominantley surfing specific types of breaks, i.e mellow beachie or fast hollow reef, get one made for the it.

If your an intermediate get an off the shelf all rounder and keep a decent quiver for the different days. I.E you got the mal, keep it for now, there are gonna be days that this may be the only board you can use(this does not apply to those who surf logs)

If your a beginer buy what is advised and learn.

Okay, i've sent a few emails
I've also emailed a few people who are selling custom made board second hand. I think this would be best for my first board, then get a custom made for me... depends on prices really...

Anything else i should check up on when buying custom made, i've got a price quote of £260 including delivery, fins and leash. That seems really cheap... too cheap?
That price was from swampy boards
