Coding all day and sometimes going for a long cycle... then hanging with friends some nights.

My ultimate aim is to get enough small autonomous businesses up-and-running on the side to fund the better things in life (surfing, travelling, relaxing). :)

what kind of coding do you do?

I am pretty decent in some web stuff.. php, css, html(hehe)

not really programming though.. i guess php is considered programming but nothing like some of the other stuff out there.. its so sloppy.

and yeah.. i spend WAY too much time on the internet too.. i swear if i am not working or at school.. (assuming waves are flat) i feel like i am on the internet.. if i go 2 days without it i wonder about what i am missing..

Play games (360 & PS3) or mountain biking when the weather is nice. I spend lots of time browsing the net when I'm not doing either of those though :P

Right now I pretty much use Java exclusively for coding webapps (communicating with some XML APIs, like Google Checkout and Plesk). :) Alongside valid, strict, semantic HTML/CSS, of course. ;)

I used to use PHP a few years ago - and still help out a friend that runs his game-hosting business on it - but I agree: it's sloppy and I'm not really a fan.

Used a few languages a lot in the past (C/C++ mostly), but found inner-peace with Java. :)

mmmm, what do I do when I am not surfing....or working(2nd line IT support for the Canadian Army).

Well right now training for my first Ironman(Florida, November 07), is taking up alot of time, those dammed 3 hour runs and 6-7 hour rides take alot of your day up. Other then that, I race mountain bikes on wednesday/thursday nights. I think I am solo'ing an 8 hour mtb race end of september. I also end up playing alot of video games with my friends on weekends when I am not training(mostly Wii). Oh, and the last month, play about 36 holes of golf over the weekend....

So lots of sports.....it is something fun that kills time. Oh, and latley, doing everything I can to save up my money, so I can actually afford to move to Australia. Though I think that I will end up just putting alot of stuff on my credit card at first the way bills just keep comming in.

I'm in college for filmmaking with a double minor in theatre and opera. Other than that....

Fencing
Martial Arts
Art (concept, storyboarding, and costume design)
Classical piano
Different kinds of dance
Saving up money to study abroad and hopefully permanently transfer to New Zealand. (So I hear ya Batman!)

I cant wait. I just talked to my uncle lastnight. He works for Air Canada, so he can get a pass for me, so aslong as I fly with him, I can do a flight from Vancouver to Sydney for about $300. I am stoked.

Er, well I don't like to talk about it, but I'm actually a fighter pilot in my spare time, but I normally get weekends off so it doesn't really interferre with my Grand Prix racing, which is a bonus.

Occasionally I get asked by Microsoft to code a new operating system, but Bill knows not to call when the waves are half decent, so that's cool.

Obviously I shape all my own boards, make all my own fins and have my own wetsuit factory - and with all the money I'm earning, I reckon I should be able to buy Australia soon.

Oh - and sometimes I even go surfing ..............

Don't admit to that on a public forum, you'll never work again.
