'allo. I'm Chris; a 20 year-old guy living in Pembrokeshire, Wales (originally from England... moved here 17 years ago) and in October I'll be starting my 3rd year (out of 4) at Southampton University.

Just started surfing a couple of weeks ago on my pride-and-joy 7'8 Saltrock mini-mal. Right now I only have 3 possessions I couldn't live without: my board, my wetsuit (mm warm) and my laptop (bit of a computer guy... been coding for 10 years, hehe).

Looking forward to continuing reading and posting here... awesome community and this site's responsible for pretty much everything I know about surfing so far!

sadly after living down there for about 8 years i never went surfing once, parents werent particularly active Wink but after learning to snowboard decided i would like to finally learn how to surf. thats when i came across this awesome site and decided to drop a line

I've surfed around the globe for almost 40 years now. Most all of my experiences have been good one's, even the one's Ive been skunked, sick, or hurt on. I grew up in the Venice beach area, and surfed the Santa Monica Bay beach breaks (mainly El Porto) for a good portion of that time.

I have a lot of interests, but the love of surfing has always been at the top.

Hey there everyone

I have only just discovered the surfing fanatic inside me but now I just can't get enough!

I'm living and working in Brighton, UK so we have the sea here but so far no luck as far as waves go this season...

Hoping to pop up to Croyde next weekend (with fingers crossed that we might see some surf) and Compton bay on the Isle of Wight mid October (with the very same fingers crossed again!) so let me know if your going to be around and maybe we can catch a beer!
