hey, i go to uni in plymouth. we usually head up to somewhere north cornwall if we are going to make a day of things but i've surfed at bigbury in march which wasnt to bad and been to bantham a few times kiting and theres usually people out in the water. id say yeah 5mm, i was in my summer suit with rashvest and 2 cossies and i was pretty ok but iv never had a problem with the cold really. hope this helps even if it is to late!
