i've been surfing with a 7'0" and since school is about to start, i'm only going to have time surf like 2-3 times a week.

i was wondering if a 6'2" nsp shortboard is alright? if not would a 6'0" fish suffice? will it be alright for a beginner/

i know a lot of people don't like nsp's, but don't worry, i also have a locally shaped 5'11" that i can't use yet due to lack of skill and experience, it's just hanging pretty on my wall.

i've been surfing for about 5 months and with the waves here in morro bay, i'm just looking for something smaller that i can use almost everytime i paddle out.

to be honest do what you like, its up to you, i've never ridden a shortboard nsp, although they don't sound the best, some people may disagree. they are pop outs still, and they will still be hard to ride, best off getting a mal or sticking with what you have.

surfing 2-3 times a week is a fair amount compared to some surfers, so thats good, but it would still be hard to surf a 6'2 as a beginner with no or little experience

well.. i saw this on ebay. i know that it's not right to buy surfboards off ebay, but this one has beginner written on the title.
it's a 6'0" quad fish.. 21" wide and 2.5" thick..
it's an epoxy board
here's the link.

idk if it's a good board or not but i just wanted something shorter..
