I live in Sunderland and use a 5/3 all year round. It can get a little warm in the summer months.

U could probs get away with a 3mm in summer but you wouldnt get me near the sea in anything less than a 5mm in winter... hood, boots and gloves in winter too... brrr

i hate wearing a hood/hat, its the worst thing, but better than having a cold/ice cream head
